How does the underground function?
The Underground operates in two alternating segments:
Corporate Gathering: Every other Friday, The Underground brings together students from partnering churches and surrounding communities for a night shaped by powerful worship, relevant and engaging teaching, great food, and high-energy fun. These gatherings rotate between communities and venues, creating a shared experience where the entire group comes together with purpose and anticipation. At present, The Underground is hosted in Wallaceburg and Dresden.
Connect Groups: As The Underground grows, small groups—called Connect Groups—will be established to foster deeper relationships and spiritual growth. These groups will consist of students from partner churches and local communities, meeting during the “off” weeks between large gatherings. This rhythm allows teens to experience a dynamic, corporate worship environment every other Friday, while the alternating weeks in Connect Groups provide a space for accountability, discipleship, and meaningful discussion. By combining large-group energy with intentional small-group connection, students are equipped to grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and engage deeply with biblical truth.
